Privacy
I don't use analytics, ad tracking, or third-party cookies on this site.
Forms. When you send me something through a form here, it goes through Formspree, a form service, and lands in my email. Book donation requests also get copied into a private database I use to track who asked, who got books, and where they went. Formspree records the IP address a message came from. That's used only to block spam and abuse — I don't use it to identify you, contact you, or build a profile of anyone.
Feedback and Q&A. That form doesn't ask for your name or your email, and it won't accept a message with an email address or phone number in it. If something identifying gets through anyway — a name, a school, a town — I delete the whole message. I read every one myself, so that's a call I make by hand. I don't write back to these. Questions I answer get posted on the Readers page without names.
Newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address is used for one thing: sending the newsletter. I don't share it or sell it.
What I keep. I keep what you send me. Newsletter emails and book donation requests have your contact details attached, so if you want yours removed, email me and it's done. Feedback and questions come in without any name on them, so there's no way to match a message back to whoever sent it — that also means I can't take one down on request.
Purchases. Those happen on Shopify or Amazon, each of which has its own privacy notice.
